PanoVolo version 1.9.4 has been released with the following bug fixes and improvements:
- Split “Save Panorama” into “Save” and “Save as” options. By default, “Save panorama” offers source panorama directory as a location for saving panorama.

- Replaced the “Use source directory” option with “Save into source directories” in Batch mode. When enabled, panoramas are saved to their corresponding source directories. To replicate the previous behavior – saving panoramas to the parent folder – copy the source directory path to the destination directory using the dedicated button.

- Double click in Sphere and Map views now cycles between 100% and full scale views, for consistency with panorama viewer.
- Improved performance of seam finder by ~3x.
- When saving a panorama in TIFF format and size of panorama >2 GB (uncompressed) automatically switch to BigTIFF format.
- Added a button to copy source directory path to destination directory in Batch mode.
- Added a button that shows saved panorama file in the default viewer.

- Uses native GPU-accelerated renderer on Windows (typically defaults to DirectX).
- Minor user interface tweaks and improvements.
- Translated user interface to Dutch, Polish, Romanian, Chinese, Korean and Japanese.
- Upgraded OpenCV to 4.13.0.
- Upgraded DNG SDK to 1.7.1 Build 2502, March 2026.
PanoVolo 1.9.4 is available as a free upgrade for Windows and macOS users and installers can be freely downloaded.
